An Evening Café in Lynton
Evening food, wine, cocktails and calm after 6pm.
North Coast After Six is our relaxed evening café in Lynton, available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm, during May and June.
It is still the same North Coast Café, just with a slower evening rhythm, our full daytime menu, Summer Evening Warmers, hot drinks, wine, cocktails and a chilled playlist.
It is not a restaurant night. It is not a bar night. It is North Coast Café in evening mode.
North Coast Café in evening mode
From 6pm, the pace shifts a little.
North Coast After Six is for those evenings when you want somewhere easy, informal and unhurried. A calmer corner of Lynton where you can stop for food, a drink, something sweet, or simply somewhere comfortable to sit for a while.
Our full daytime menu is still available, alongside our Summer Evening Warmers, with the kitchen open until 8pm.
Summer Evening Warmers
Our Soups & Stews are staying for the summer, but moving into the evenings as Summer Evening Warmers.
Served from 6pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, they sit alongside our full daytime menu, giving you the choice of something light and casual, or something warm, proper and comforting.

Choose from the following sides

Not always dinner. Sometimes just a drink.
You do not have to come for food.
North Coast After Six is also for a glass of wine, a spirit-forward cocktail, a pot of tea, a coffee, or simply somewhere calm to pause for a while.
Before dinner, after dinner, or instead of dinner
North Coast After Six works just as well for a pre-dinner drink before heading to one of Lynton’s evening restaurants, such as Restaurant Kensington or The Oak Room, as it does for a relaxed stop after fish and chips on the Esplanade in Lynmouth.
It is also a good option if you did not get chance to visit us during the day, but still fancy something easy, informal and unhurried.
Our evening food is deliberately more casual than a full restaurant menu. Think café favourites, toasted bagels, lighter plates, Summer Evening Warmers, scones, hot drinks, wine and cocktails.
Scones after six? Absolutely.
If you missed us during the day, or just fancy something sweet in the evening, our scones are still part of the story.
A warm scone with clotted cream and a pot of tea, coffee, wine or something stronger is a perfectly good reason to stop by.
A relaxed adults-only evening café in Lynton
From 6pm, North Coast After Six is reserved for adults.
Everyone is very welcome during the day, with our evening service kept calmer, slower and adults-only.
When is North Coast After Six?
North Coast After Six runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm during May & June.
The kitchen is open until 8pm.
Our official closing time is 8pm, though we may stay open a little later for hot drinks, wine or cocktails when the evening has a nice flow.
