Recently awarded as one of the best cafés in Devon, the North Coast Café is located on Queen Street in the Victorian town of Lynton, on North Devon's rugged Exmoor coast.
Join us for lunch or an afternoon treat. Choose from our extensive menu of handcrafted bagels, sandwiches and toasties, with plenty of veggie, vegan, and gluten-free options too.
Are you a lover of Scones with Cream & Jam? Then you may just LOVE our range of delicious handcrafted scones with handmade preserves. Treat yourself to a delicious cake or sweet treat from our daily selection, with some gluten-free and vegan options too. Check out our delicious Food Menu.
North Coast Cafe is a relaxed, grown-up space designed for those who appreciate good coffee, great food, and calm surroundings. We’re not set up for bikes, prams or buggies indoors. And we’re unable to cater to groups larger than four.
So sit back and relax in our delightful coffee shop, listen to our uplifting and upbeat tunes … it’s the only way to spend some quality time in Lynton & Lynmouth.

Breakfast is Back!
We’re bringing breakfast back for the winter — warm, comforting and made fresh to order every morning. From 10–11am you can now enjoy our new bagel breakfasts, including indulgent melts like The Whole Hog and our North Coast twists on the classic Bennies.
Whether you fancy something hearty or something a little more elegant, everything pairs beautifully with our delicious Voyager coffee. A cosy start to your day, right here on Queen Street.
The Whole Hog
The Whole Hog is our most indulgent breakfast bagel melt: ham, streaky bacon and a hearty sausage patty, all packed into an air-toasted bagel and loaded with melted cheddar. Big, warming and satisfyingly over the top — a proper winter treat for those mornings when you want the full works.
The Salmon Bennie
Our Salmon Bennie brings a touch of brunch elegance to breakfast: soft scrambled egg, smoked salmon and silky hollandaise layered inside a toasted bagel, finished with a little speckling of black pepper. Rich, comforting and just a little bit fancy — the perfect slow-morning start.
The Bacon Bennie
The Bacon Bennie is our take on simple winter comfort: soft scrambled egg, streaky bacon and smooth hollandaise in a toasted bagel. Crispy edges, buttery sauce and plenty of warmth — everything you want from a cosy breakfast, without overthinking it.
The North Coast Six is sharing platter that brings together six of our sweet mini scones – Coffee & Walnut, Ginger, Apple Crumble, Orange & Lemon, Cherry & Almond and Spiced Fruit – all served with generous helpings of clotted cream, strawberry jam, lemon curd and North Devon honey.
